A recomendation

Check out Mangagirl, who's offering a number of commission and art piece options: [link]

I highly recommend Mangagirl. She's an awesome artist who can deliver whatever you want. Check her out.

Looking for a background/machine artist.

This post may be wholly unnecessary, and if there's anyone reading this who thinks to themselves, "Hey, I could do that!" feel free to speak up.

I'm looking for someone who can draw gadgets, machines, etc., someone who could draw a computer keyboard as well as they could simple clockwork setup. Essentially my plan is to sketch out the device in Paint Shop Pro or prototype it in either Power Point or Second Life, and then have the artist go to town and make it look fantastic.

Can anyone recommend an someone who's pretty good at that? And if you're good at that, again, let me know. I'm typically kind of skittish about being overly anal when I commission someone, but for this you're likely to get a description of how the contraption works as well as the sketch/prototype, so I'm posting this as much for references as (paid) volunteers who aren't bothered by a technofetishist geeking out on them.

And, yes, the contraption is most likely a deathtrap. And, yes, I do apologize if this post comes off a pretentious.

Thanks. :)

Have you heard of this artist?

Does anyone remember an artist GoodVsEvil? He used to be on DA, but his account was closed. I'm trying to get in touch with him about a Stargirl commission he drew for me, and I apparently lost it.

undergrounduno is taking commission to help with her grand moving experience. In case anyone here's interested, undergrounduno is one of the most prolific Parity artists, and I highly recommend her as far as commission artists go.

Un-Paper Dolls

Thu Feb 28, 2008, 12:19 PM
I'd love to have a "paper doll" of Parity on my web site, where people could drag'n'drop different outfits on her. I imagine this would require: an undresed Parity, a few different hair styles, two or three outfits, etc. It's something I'd also like to grow over time, so ideally I'd like to be able to come to some arrangement with the artist...not contract exactly, but an agreement that I'll pay them X this month for Y, and repeat the cycle when they're finished.

Can anyone out there recommend an artist who'd be pretty good at this kind of thing? Are you an artist who'd be good at this kind of thing? If so, I'd appreciate any kind info.

Thanks!
